(TD) Backlog

Definition(s):

A product Backlog refers a “list created containing all the requirements or tasks that are currently known.” (Abrahamsson et al., 2002)
“the product Backlog list should be constantly updated with new and more detailed items, as well as with more accurate estimations and new priority orders.” (Abrahamsson et al., 2002)
Therefore, a TD Backlog represents a list of TD items identified throughout the software product development or maintenance processes, which may need to be updated, monitored, and handled in the next iterations/releases.
